Employer Nomination Scheme 186 Visa - Direct Entry Stream [Key Facts]

Australia’s Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) 186 Visa is a permanent employer sponsored visa with three streams: the Temporary Residence Transition stream, the Direct Entry stream and the Agreement stream.

Changes are due to take place for the ENS in March 2018, including higher lodgement fees, reduced occupations and changes to applicant criteria. We recommend applying for the Employer Nomination Scheme 186 Visa before these changes take place

$1.4m Funding for Programmes to Support Migrant and Refugee Startups

Five programmes focused on supporting first generation migrant and refugee startups recently received a generous $1.4 million funding grant in Victoria.

This welcome funding boost was allocated by LaunchVic, an organisation established by the Victorian government to manage the deployment of the state’s $60 million innovation fund.

It comes as part of LaunchVic’s third round of grants and goes to programmes that could help migrant-founded tech and startup enterprises in Victoria.
